The Regional Directorate of Education of Crete supervises five KEPEA across the island.
KEPEA are specialized centers that design and implement educational programs on environmental issues and sustainability. They collaborate with schools, teachers, students, and the local community to:
• Promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices.
• Support experiential and outdoor learning.
• Integrate environmental education into the school curriculum.
